Discovery meeting
Once you reach out to our team, we’ll schedule a discovery call or meeting. In this meeting, we’ll discuss all sorts of details to determine if working together is a good fit, including:
- Who you are (and/or who your company is).
- Your goals and vision for hosting an event.
- Overall details, including date/time/duration, size, location and budget.
- The scope of services needed.
Scope of services & fee proposal
After our meeting, we’ll deliver a customized scope of services outline based on your event needs along with our fee proposal. Here’s what to know about our fee:
- We determine the fee based on the budget, duration, location, scope and size.
- Our fee is flat, meaning we do not charge hourly—ever. Want to meet multiple times a week, great! We pride ourselves on becoming an extension of your team with no red tape.
Initial kickoff meeting
We usually spend 90 minutes together to do a deep dive into the topics discussed in our discovery call to set the tone of planning. We’ll also walk through an overall planning timeline, so everyone knows when decisions need to be made and what to expect throughout the planning process.
From there, the team at Harper & James will be off to the races to execute your customized scope of services.
