We hired talented artist, Tina Blanc, to create custom bear watercolor illustrations that were used on the invitations and paper products. The team at Orange Goat Sweets replicated the illustrations into beautiful sugar cookies at the event. The Party Trend created a photo backdrop that featured our sweet Air Force Bear at the entrance of the party to bring it all together.
The Polo Bar
The menu should reflect the sophistication of Ralph Lauren’s style. Serve a mix of classic American dishes with a gourmet twist. The team at Evan Williams Catering helped us do just this with a menu featuring prime beef sliders, mini shrimp tacos, Sturgeon Caviar on potatoes, crab cakes, red deviled eggs, floral wrapped Caesar salad spring rolls and dips served with crudités. Hors d’oeuvres served on vintage blue and white floral china and displayed on denim pinstripe linens tied in classic Ralph Lauren design elements. Specialty cocktails served also gave a nod to classic American cocktails including “Baby Boy Spritz” (Limoncello Spritz), “All American Baby” (Manhattan) and “Varsity Blues Baby” (Cucumber Empress Gin).
Bringing it all together
When it comes to florals, go for antique hydrangeas, cream roses and blue delphinium. Set them in vintage-inspired compote vessels to bring a warm, vintage touch.
