With two University of Kansas alums on our team (and one Mizzou alum who shall not be mentioned), we were honored to work alongside the Legends of Kansas, a Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) collective focused on creating an elite student athlete experience.
Legends of Kansas is comprised of former KU student athletes, which gives them a unique and firsthand experience on how to affect positive change and support athletes. More than just financial support (though that’s key too), this collective operates similarly to a fraternity network, connecting current student athletes to former athletes and other professionals who can help them transition from college athletics to successful careers.
With the support of Harper & James, the Legends of Kansas team produced a final fundraising and educational effort before the NCAA Transfer Portal opened on April 16. The event featured an exclusive fireside chat with quarterback sensation, Jalon Daniels, and the unstoppable running back, Devin Neal — two athletes at the helm of Kansas football’s unprecedented success. Moderated by former Jayhawk running back and executive board member, Brandon McAnderson, Jalon and Devin gave attendees behind-the-scenes access to their remarkable journeys.
This intimate experience resulted in raising thousands for Jalon and Devin’s teammates to continue on the path of greatness for KU football.
